Funny, accessible, beautiful – Palmers Green’s Dead Cat

Every film, piece of music or art is inspired by something. Why then couldn’t it be Palmers Green?

Perhaps that’s what award-winning filmmakers Sam Bourke and Stefan Georgiou thought when they sat down to write Dead Cat, to be shown at Talkies Community Cinema at the Fox this week.

The film is described as a quirky take on contemporary relationships and tells the tale of childhood sweethearts Michael and Kristen who haven’t seen each other for ten years and meet again in their thirties.  Is it all about to begin again?

Dead Cat is being shown this Wednesday and Sam and Stefan will be giving a talk about how it came about. Tickets are a wonderful value £5 and can be booked from the Talkies website.
